Come December, we are all in that greetings mood. So, join us on the 15th of December to say “Happy Birthday” to one of our favourite and liveliest new music spots in London.
It was May 2017 when Balabam first opened its doors, but it was late in the year that the Tottenham venue became fully operational with its event agenda overflowing with Mediterranean and rootsy sounds.
There’s no better time than mid-December to exchange some rhythmic wishes with the Balabam big and happy family and no better way than to enjoy some good music to dance the party away.
On Saturday 15th, you will indeed have a full house of hearty sounds with Colomboloco, Kasai Masai and Amaraterra plus DJ Aly Prince, DJ Talava and DJ Ritu to keep up the tempo during the stage changes. There’ll be a bit of Spanish flamenco, a good deal of Southern Italian tarantella and pizzica, some Greek rebetiko, Turkish folk and even a profusion of Congolese soukous and Afro-funk.
Bring your own smile and dancing shoes!
