Preview: Club To Club Festival (Turin, Italy – 2nd to 6th November 2016)


Club To Club used to be known by music lovers, insiders and the press as the best electronic festival in Italy. Now at its sixteenth edition, it has earned the praises of international giants such as The New York Times, Electronic Beats, Pitchfork and Resident Advisor, the latter calling it “one of the best European festivals happening at the end of the year”.

No more focusing only on electronic music, but broadening its scope to avant-pop, hip-hop and world, this years line-up includes a diverse range of musicians, amongst whom are British experimental duo Autechre, Junun — the super group made of Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, Indian orchestra The Rajasthan Express, and Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur — Björk’s collaborator Arca, Gqom Oh! DJs selecting the best of Durban’s music scene, and Italian acts such as Jolly Mare and Ghali.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday, 2nd November, with a performance set in the breathtaking 17th century Palace of Venaria, and closes on Sunday 6th, with a free event in the neighbourhood of San Salvario.
