Preview: Crosswires Festival @ Amersham Arms (London, 3rd October 2015)

Do you want to nose out how London sounds today and will sound in the near future?

Then come down to the Amersham Arms on Saturday, because for more than twelve hours (from 1.30pm to 1.30am) ten bands, workshops and a vibrant community Festival called Crosswires will set the New Cross venue on creative fire and expose the new musical directions that London has recently undertaken.

The event, which is a stimulating opportunity for Lewisham, New Cross and Deptford areas, was shaped one year ago and is growing well-fed and healthy thanks to the dedicated work of its organisers, Lewisham Council and Midi Music Company.

That’s how Crosswires’s 2015 edition can host names like 47Soul and their “electro-mijwez, shamstep, choubi” mix, Italian dancy folk band TerraViva, United Vibrations playing some rough afro-punk tunes and eclectic DJS like Bradley Zero and Mango Park.

To sound original in London is quite a complex thing, so let Crosswires Festival introduce you to the unique artists ahead of their city.
