It’s not every day that you can indulge yourself in the performance of a music giant. Luckily, at ¡Como No!, they care about our musical pleasure and on the 26th of February, they have the honour to bring to London no less than Eliades Ochoa.

The Cuban “institution” and former member of Orchestra Buena Vista Social Club, thanks to a career spanning almost half a century, Eliades Ochoa has brought the sound of traditional Cuban son all around the world.

Nicknamed “Mr Chan Chan” for the global success of his most popular song, Eliades Ochoa started playing in 1978 and released his first record in 1980. 40 years and 30 albums later, his name has become the synonym for Latin music, from salsa to jazz.

His upcoming show at the Barbican, supported by remarkable violinist Omar Puente, is without a doubt one of the musical highlights of the month.
