Preview: Lianne La Havas @ Hackney Arts Center (London; Tuesday 18th September 2018)

lianne Hackney Arts Center

Lianne La Havas has been gracing the music scene, playing soft ballads with her uniquely serene vocals and jazzy mellow Gibson ES-175 guitar licks since her EP Lost and Found released in 2011. At Hackney Arts Centre, La Havas promises to bring new music to the old theatre-esc venue in an intimate performance.

Born to a Greek mother and Jamaican father, La Havas’ eclectic taste comes through in her original music. Her debut album: Is Your Love Big Enough gentle sways from upbeat funky acoustic grooves to slow silky smooth romantic melodies, and emotive tear-jerking piano ballads.

A performance from Lianne La Havas promises to be an evening of classy and impressive, and atmospheric musicality from a female vocal powerhouse.
