This is a call for all the Latino and South America culture lovers…and a can’t-miss invitation for all the music curious around.
Movimientos is turning 10 and will celebrate in its own very special way!
The London based but U.K. active events organisation, which has become one of the most emphatic loudspeakers for South and Latin American music in the country, will heartily light up the Rich Mix stage next weekend.
The event, which will run for two days and (most likely) two nights, will host some Latin American and Latin American-enthusiast artists like the Peruvian Grammy nominated collective Novalima, 10-piece Colombian inspired cumbia band La Papayera, London-Peruvian new sensation Los Chinches and Casa da Cachaça with their ten Brazilian inexhaustible drummers.
But even after those live performances, the show won’t be over, because it’ll be the turn of Latin hip beats played by DJs like iZem, DJ Caution and “masters of the house” Cal Jader and Russ Jones…next to movie screenings, discussions (held by Alborada and Sounds and Colours) and a one-of-a-kind community spirit.
For a weekend you’ll forget about the thousands of miles and the Ocean distancing London from Brazil, Peru, Colombia and the other Latin American countries…
Rich Mix will accommodate them all and Movimientos will act as irresistible host.
