…it was about time! The last time we gathered in front of a stage was eight months ago. We simply couldn’t wait to do it again and hopefully again and again and again…
On Friday the 18th of June, we will resume our good habits. We are indeed really excited to finally invite you to a live gig once again!
It’s going to be seated, socially-distanced and with limited capacity (sorry but Covid-guidelines still apply for a few more days), however you are going to revel in Latin notes and an upbeat atmosphere all the same, courtesy of Quimbara, DJ Lou Pino and The Post Bar.
Named after a Celia Cruz classic and inspired by pan-Latin styles like salsa, cumbia and mambo, Quimbara are a recently formed London-based band brimming with passion for Latin American culture and its music, which they blend with jazz, afrobeat and London’s scents.
The musicians, who come from the UK, Colombia, Peru, the US and Italy, joined forces just before the first lockdown hit, requiring all of us to stay at home. But now, they are finally back together on a stage ready to enthral you with Latin vibes.
Latin vibes also spread far and wide by our good old friend DJ Lou Pino. He will open and close the evening with his vintagy and electrifying selection that will end up letting your chair dance with you.
Then, save the date and the location… on the 18th of June live music in all its Latin glory is back in Tottenham!
