Preview: Snarky Puppy @ O2 Brixton Academy (London, 5th May 2017)

euro-17-wide

In two days’ time, Snarky Puppy will seize Brixton for one night… and what a night it will be!

The O2 Brixton Academy, London will be the setting for a one-off show from a one-off band and trust us, everything will be extraordinary. There’s nothing standard or already seen or heard when it comes to the double Grammy award winning, big band from Denton, Texas.

Snarky Puppy’s overwhelming and instinctive ensemble sound, built on jazz, funk, soul and jam band experience, will lift the spirits and move the feet of everyone in the audience.

They surely won’t miss the opportunity to get their London fans acquainted with their one-year old album Culcha Vulcha, and introduce Michael League’s (Snarky Puppy’s founder member) West-African/Delta blues inspired new project called Bokanté (they will also play in London at the Union Chapel on the 7th of July).

“Free your dreams” and head for Brixton Academy.
