Preview: Snarky Puppy @ Royal Albert Hall (London; Thursday 14th November 2019)
Based in Brooklyn, jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy will be making their debut at the Royal Albert Hall on 14th November, to highlight the release of their brand-new album, Immigrance. For the past decade, there have been few bands with such a varied amalgam of styles – the main ingredient that makes this collective so successful is their ability to innovate whilst keeping a sense of groove at the foundation of each track.
The group consists of around 30 instrumentalists that perform in regular rotation and hold their bassist, composer and leader of the band, Michael League, in the centre. With such a variety of musicians in play and a repertoire that allows for an ever-changing playlist, every show is an unforgettable musical experience.
