A band of magicians, Brazilian supergroup Tribalistas are heading to the UK for one night only. On 4th November, Arnaldo Antunes, CarlinhosBrown and MarisaMonte will regroup to mesmerize with their gentle mix of MPB, pop-rock and traditional play.
Forming in 2003, the three musicians were already independently regarded as Latin-American stars. Europe-residing Marisa Monte found fame after moving to Italy and picking up her writing in a new context, later winning four Latin Grammys. Arnaldo Antunes is a former member of popular rock band Titãs, who continued with bountiful solo compositions and poetry publications. Carlinhos Brown is considered the godfather of percussion from Northern Brazil, a community idol who set up drum schools on the streets of Bahia. This gift of education resulted in one of the most successful Afro-Brazilian samba reggae bands to date, Timbalada.
The project is a natural calling of three superstars back to their mother-tongue home of tropical pop. Despite not having toured since inception, the band has been growing its own identity and is bubbling over with a sweet personality full of song. Their first time playing in London, this trio may just enchant you with their own spellbinding melodies.

Brimming with sequins, strut and catchy melodies, the Brazilian supergroup trio worked the crowd from the first number. It felt as if the audience had been waiting for this special moment…
