Zeca Pagodinho is an established samba performer with over 30 years’ experience, who cut his tooth playing in rodas de samba and writing music for G.R.E.S. Portela, one of the oldest and most well-known samba schools in Rio de Janeiro.
Fifteen albums later, in the styles of samba and MPB, and he is the winner of four Latin Grammys. Pagodinho’s successes and talented musicianship still run to this day, including when he played to a million people during the Rio Olympics. He is a carioca through and through, who plays his music with heart and with finesse.
This Sunday sees Zeca play at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on the last leg of his European tour where he will be playing his choice songs from the 1980’s to the present day. It will be a lot of fun for fans of Brazilian music.
