The one day event is a unique platform which showcases Africa’s valuable, distinctive and unique heritage.

This year we are partnering with Open the Gate, a community organisation that is behind the African Market franchise and African on the Square to oversee our African market fair. Our goal is to bring together small businesses of African culture, heritage, fashion, crafts and arts.

This event will feature great live performances, live bands, dance, competitions, awards program, networking, product sampling, African cuisine/ food stalls, fashion & market stalls, drum, poetry, fashion shows and traditional craft displays, story telling.

The festival is FREE to the public. All proceeds from this year’s event go towards our charitable initiative Hope Alive Mission which supports Youth initiatives in our local community and Abused Children and Women charities in UK and Africa.
