ALVORADA are the UK’s leading performers of choro - a style of instrumental music originally from Rio de Janeiro. Expect to hear rich, lively, and expressive melodies combined with infectious, rhythmic grooves and virtuosic instrumental interaction.
The tight-knit quintet - described as "one of the most exciting bands in London" (DJ Ritu, Resonance FM) - will be making their first appearance at the London Jazz Festival, to present their highly-acclaimed debut recording, 'First Light'.
