is the crossroad of musical genres in exodus and a cunning homage to the vibrance of Palestinian Dabke dance and performance. Established in 2009, DJ/Producer Bruno Cruz and Performer/MC Walaa Sbait brought their homegrown Dabkeh Dance and Mijwiz sounds to match with the beats of hip-hop, dancehall and dembow, announcing with it, the emergence of their unique Arab-A-Dub style. Bridging the sounds and movements that connect the shores of the Caribbean with the hills of the Galilee, sound system culture meets a late night Palestinian street party - and not a beat is amiss.#حركة_الدَب_كي
Reshaping the boundaries between traditional Arabic music and electronica, producer Eljehaz has become a key force in the digitalised rebirth of Mijwiz and electronic Dabke), a folkloric music phenomenon from Jordan and Palestine. (A musical off-shoot of his band, 47Soul) His electrifying live sets pay homage to this unstoppable and hypnotic musical scene by revamping iconic bootleg tracks and rogue wedding recordings with unstoppable heavy bass rhythms and beats.
Composed of the supreme team DJ Cal Jader and Selecta Madmax, their regular parties have brought global bass to the forefront of South-London’s party scene. From dembow to ragga, cumbia to afrohouse, they ensure they are always a beat ahead of anything you one could have expected.
