Summertime officially commences on Saturday 25th May with a special outdoor live/electronic performance by Ariwo, marking the launch of their new album 'Quasi'.
The event will take place on the GIANT STEPS canal-side terrace at 3pm and entrance is FREE.
Please stay tuned for announcements of the DJs that will be warming up from noon when doors open. Ariwo will perform at 3pm.
Their new album Quasi will be released on 17th May 2019 via MANANA//records and includes guest performances by Joe-Armon Jones (Ezra Collective), Binker Golding (Binker & Moses) and Yelfris Valdes (Quantic). Already named Giles P's 'album of the week' on BBC 6 Music, the album is turning heads and for good reason.

Their performance at GIANT STEPS will feature the full band alongside heavyweight UK guest jazz musicians. Expect deep bass, hypnotic live Cuban percussion, carnival melodies and other worldly electronics.
The band have performed twice at London's Barbican as well as packed shows at the Jazz Cafe, Village Underground, Oval Space, Fiddlers (Bristol) and at key festivals including Gottwood, Brainchild, Boomtown and WOMAD (UK), Bahidora (MEX) and Dimensions (CRO).
There will be heavily discounted vinyl copies of their new album for sale too (cash only).
See you there!
