A night showcasing two of Africa’s hippest musical exports, each combing tradition with the most contemporary of styles. Baloji with his band Orchestre De Ka Katuba are a sensation mixing rap & hip-hop with Congolese rhumba, to create a unique alchemy. Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara, a recent signing to the World Circuit label, is a dynamic young artist and songwriter whose star is very quickly ascending.
