Comprised of some of London's most exciting female musicians, COLECTIVA explore the spaces between Afro-Latin music and Jazz while reflecting on themes of sisterhood and female empowerment. Emerging into 2019 ‘blowing the roof off’ landmark Brixton venue Hootananny, and amidst growing support for the project, the 9-piece collective are buckling up for what’s set to be an exhilarating musical journey this year.
They’ll be playing alongside Ritmo Caribeño bringing their Latin & Caribbean vinyl dancefloor killers to London. Expect a body-shaking mix of Cumbia, Salsa, Zouk, Reggae, Dancehall and more. Plus Movimientos’ DJ Cal Jader will be keeping things moving in between and after with a fresh selection of Latin American beats and Tropical treats.
