To celebrate his 40th Anniversary in the business, David Rodigan is launching his new club night Roots & Branches by taking over London’s Village Underground for an entire weekend.

2018 has seen Rodigan celebrate his 40thAnniversary in the business with a string of events marking this monumental career landmark. In March he sold out the Royal Festival Hall with the Outlook Orchestra, joined by surprise guests including Protoje, Horace Andy, Maxi Priest and UB40! In April he completed his 40thAnniversary European DJ Tour and in June, the Museum Of London displayed an exhibition in his honour as part of their London Nights Series. Festival season has been full on as well and in July David and the Outlook Orchestra performed an awe inspiring show to a sold out Somerset Set House. 

So, to round off the 40thcelebrations David is launching his new club night Roots & Branches by taking over London’s Village Underground for an entire weekend! Friday will see David and the legendary Saxon Sound represent The Roots with an all-nighter roots reggae session like no other before. The following night David will represent ‘The Branches’ and will be joined by artists who have contributed to David’s recent career, namely Breakage and the ‘DJ’s DJ’, the original ‘too hot to handle’ DJ Randall. Oh and expect some surprise guests too!
