doinourownthing thepost

We are back at this incredible venue in the heart of Tottenham for another red hot session - joining the inextricable dots between samba funk and afro-disco, batucada and proto-house from South Africa. Some of London's finest selectors will be taking us on an musical journey via the best Brazilian and African sounds ever pressed on to wax.

-> Duncan Brooker { Strut Records } – This gentleman needs no introduction. As a master compiler he has put together some of Strut Records' bestselling compilation albums.

=> Fabricio D.Vyzor { #Brasil / Boom Brew} - From Sao Paulo based in London; D.Vyzor is a specialist Brasilian music dj and record collector. He had his debut Boiler Room session spinning strictly Brasilian music in Giles Peterson's Brownswood Basement. With a natural knack for playing some of the most obscure and extremely Funky Brasilian record, he is one of the most influential Brazilian music DJ and record collector possibly in the whole of Europe.

=> Koichi Sakai Headman at Ghetto Lounge Records, producer, one half of Afrobuddha and party starter extraordinaire.

=> Volta Fortyfive (Doin' Our Own Thing) main instigator at Doin' Our Own Thing .

Party powered by Suma Sound sound system + Full AV production
