Electric Jalaba

Electric Jalaba brings together members of Soundspecies live band and Moroccan musician, Simo Lagnawi who will play our Council Chamber as part of Borderless festival.

Their collaboration combines Simo's mesmerising Gnawa music with Soundspecies' powerful psychedelic dancefloor-shaking tracks, influenced by jazz, techno, funk, psychedelic rock and desert blues. It’s an original and uncontrived fusion of musical influences.
