The Live Music Culture Clash
1st - 2nd February 2019
2 Days - 4 Stages - Shoreditch - Richmix
London is a powerhouse of musical innovation and The London Remixed Festival brings you the finest selection for 2019. Showcasing the best in Latin Grooves, Afrobeats, Tropical Bass, Vintage-Remix, Desert Remix, Balkan Beats, Urban Roots, Acoustic Soundclash and Brass Band Remix, we are kicking Global London into the future!
The festival is a celebration of the best emerging musical talent and genres and will offer creativity, fun and madness, complete with buzzing atmosphere & music… but without the mud, rain or hassle of camping. Expect performances from over 25 cutting edge bands and DJs across 4 stages over 2 days, all in one vibrant venue nested in the heart of Shoreditch.
The London Remixed Festival is brought to you by some of the most dynamic festival organisers, venue promoters and music agencies the UK has to offer. We aim to create the perfect festival experience; indoor areas to chill out, fully converted disco lift to navigate between the stages and a silent disco. Continental Drifts and Global Local; the producers of the most rocking festival stages across the globe, are excited to be back, joining forces once again with their musical partners Movimientos, Wormfood! London, Two For Joy Music, Woodburner, and MARSM UK for the return of LONDON REMIXED FESTIVAL 2019!
Continental Drifts/Global Local are all about creating a buzzing atmosphere, they have put together some of the best line-ups at the UK’s greatest, biggest and most loved festivals. Over the years they have supported 100s of up and coming bands, 1000s, who all lost their festival virginity on their stages.
Please note: as this is an indoor festival we strongly encourage dressing up wildly!
FRIDAY LINEUP (8PM - 1AM)
THE BRASS OFF!
Deadbeat Brass (hailing from the North!)
Das Brass (London-based contender!)
After last year's sold out event we are back! Each band plays a full live set before THE BRASS OFF begins, after which they will go head to head, track to track and horn to horn, employing their meanest and dirtiest tricks, with the audience ultimately deciding the winner by cheering and roaring for their champion.
All cheers are being measured via a 'vibo-meter' which uses the latest technology to determine who is getting the loudest response from the crowd and therefore generating the most vibes!
The entertainment doesn't stop here as the legendary DJ Chris Tofu (MBE) and his groove partners Count Bassy and Fizzy Gillespie will take to the decks to keep the party going between all that brasstastic action with a fine selection of Vintage Remix, Reggae Dnb, Balkan beats and more!
