Colombian/Mexican duo Mambe y Danochilango are sonic travelers, worthy citizens of the global village, with music spanning genres as diverse as Kuduro, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Balkan and Cumbia. They have shared the stage with artists such as Celso Piña, Bomba Estéreo, Pato Machete, Dengue Dengue Dengue and Frikstailers just to mention a few.

Cumbia Sonidera meets Hip Hop
Turbo Sonidero hails from San Jose, CA, blending Hip-Hop with Mexican Cumbia Sonidera to create a new sound he calls “Tumbia”. Having spent time in his father’s hometown of Puebla, Mexico, immersing himself in the Cumbia Sonidera Culture and touring all over the country, he has played shows with acclaimed artists/DJ’s such as Ana Tijoux, Kool A.D., Los Rakas, Toy Selectah, Chico Sonido, Nortec Collective, Mexican Institute of Sound and loads more.
