BASSICALLY, are a live house music collective that crafts sophisticated techno and compulsive house music out of LIVE instrumentation. The result is a dazzling live performance that takes its cue from the early electronic sounds of Detroit, Berlin, and London, with flesh-and-bone musicians physically playing pieces usually programmed by machines. By not repeating inherited formulas, Bassically throws dance music's rulebook out of the window. It completely disregards prescriptions, preferring to help mature modern electronic music by extending instrumental techniques.
NO GO STOP, Formerly "Bristol Afrobeat Project" – No Go Stop are a 12-strong afrobeat powerhouse featuring big brass, driving percussion & soaring vocals. Driving percussion and brass encrusted rhythms catch the timeless quality of that ancestral funk sound, while the soaring instrumental solos stay true to Fela Kuti's musical mission to present the hearth of jazz with the soul of Africa and keep you dancing till dawn.
SAMSON SOUNDS, is an musical outfit within the city of Glasgow. Incorporating musical elements from African highlife and blues, to Kwaito and steppas with a heavyweight dub base. The grooves played are tight, solid and never fail to bring warm happy vibes to any event.
DJ2OLD4SCHOOL, from Lisbon, bringing you dub, funk, jazz, rock, afro-beat, disco, house, dubstep, breaks and drum & bass
OUT & DOWN DJS, London-based DJ collective playing an eclectic mix of house party music; from hip hop and house, to disco and dancehall.
