Kevin Haynes [AwoIfalleke, OmoAnyandolapoOgodo] is a ceremonial Yoruba Bata drummer, Saxophonist, Percussionist (Afro Caribbean, Nigerian Yoruba ceremonial drumming) and Jazz composer with an accomplished 25 year career.
Emma cities her influences as Fela Kuti, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Jimi Hendrix Quantic and Guts, as well as her father’s Bob Marley collection her Mother’s Gospel and her Sister’s 90s Pop & RnB, she describes her music as it simply is what it is! An old soul when it comes to music, preferring the non-commercial as it tells a story and has more positive energy to it, she is founder and creative director of Carpe Diem Events - a creative and performance based platform to raise awareness on Congo's conflict minerals and the on-going genocide in relation to our technology. She currently hosts the highly successful monthly Poetry Meets Art.
