Original Roots: Abraham Carmona

On Friday 26th July we welcome Abraham Carmona's 'Duo Duende' show to Ninety One Living Room.

Think Spain, think guitar, think Flamenco, think spellbindingly entertaining: Abraham Carmona's music, like his life, is steeped in the folkloric gypsy legends whilst paying homage to his "puro" flamenco roots.

As a composer, guitarist, singer-songwriter he draws inspiration from the copla, canciones and traditions of his culture and his ancestors while pioneering his own expressions in world, contemporary and electro evolutions.

With traditional flamenco instruments (voice, guitar, percussion) and non-traditional instruments (fretless bass, electric guitar, keyboards, decks). Abraham's music engages the heart and feeds the soul.

Abraham is debuting his 'Duo Duende' show in London and has previously performed solo in Spain, London, Shanghai, Washington DC and Los Angeles. His last two albums were produced by Pink Floyd's and Paul McCartney's producer 'Youth' (Martin Glover).
