30 Years of Latin Music in London inspired by Fania All-Stars

Inspired by the 1972 film Our Latin Thing, Colombian percussionist and 'Godfather of Latin Music in the UK' Roberto Pla leads a Latin orchestra and special guests to celebrate 30 years of Latin music in London and at the same time pay tribute to one of the world's greates salsa orchestras, Fania All-Stars.

The concert features over 50 Latin and British artists who have over the last decades shaped the Latin music scene in the UK and will be performing together for the very first time.
The line-up includes Robin Jones who has been a driving force of Latin music since the 70s, Omar Puente who has worked with Ruben Gonzalez, Eddie Palmieri and the Joold Holland Orchestra, Dorance Lorza who has toured with Larry Harlow, Snowboy who is a cuurent force of Latin jazz today, Luz Elena Caicedo who's band has backed some of the leading stars of salsa, including Adalberto Santiago of Fania All-Stars, Carlos Peña who was a singer of La Dimension Latina and performed alongside Oscar D'Leon, Lino Roche who was the lead vocalist of Salsa Celtica and fronted many salsa bands in the 90s, Rey Crespo who has worked with some of Cuba's greatest artists and many more.

This is a one-off night celebrating Latin music in the UK and paying homage to salsa's finest orchetra... the Fania All-Stars.
