Rhythm Section Presents: Wayne Snow, Kodäma & Yazmin Lacey

Our final show at Jazz Cafe this year goes out with some of Europe's finest soulful acts.

Presenting his full band live show for us, Wayne Snow is a Nigerian-born singer of the highest regard. Having broken through via his second EP Rosie, with the inimitable Max Graef behind the production, gaining the respect of the likes of Gilles Peterson and Benji B. His collaborations with artists such as Neue Grafik have garnered much acclaim. Freedom TV, his latest album for Tartlet records cements his place as one of the current leaders of the European Scene.

Kodäma are a sublime duo from Paris, who combine influences from Japan, ambient music and broken beat to create their idiosyncratic neo soul sound. With a stellar EP last year ’Palo Santo’ they are one of the best talents to come from Paris in recent years.

Yazmin Lacey

Representing Nottingham, Yazmin Lacey is a stunning new talent to emerge through Brownwood’s Future Bubblers. Her fusion of hip-hop, soul and electronics are of no doubt with an amazing voice to match.

RS chief Bradley Zero will be behind the decks and hosting the concert.

Music starts at 7PM - see you then!
