Sampa The Great, Alicai Harley & SEED Ensemble

Following on from our sold out collaborative show to honour International Women's Day earlier in the year, we team up with The Jazz Cafe again this autumn to celebrate Black History Month.
Headlining the show will be acclaimed African poet and rapper
Sampa The Great, whose sound across her mixtapes The Great Mixtape, HERoes Act 2 and Birds and the BEE9 crosses hip-hop, soul, jazz, gospel and reggae. Having supported the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$ and Thundercat in recent times, we're eager to hear what new material she's been cooking up over the past 12 months.
Joining her on the bill is fellow rapper Alicaì Harley who hails from south London. Breaking through with her dancehall smash 'Gold' last year, she's backed it up with the catchy 'Killa' released earlier this year.
Rounding off the proceedings is SEED Ensemble, the latest all star jazz troupe to emerge from London, led by Cassie Kinoshi who also plays in the all-female septet Nerija.
