Bonobo (DJ Set)
Mister Saturday Night
Nubya Garcia (DJ Set)
Clap! Clap! (Live)
Maryisonacid b2b Dauwd (African Acid is the Future)
Debuting just over three years ago, Bonobo’s Outlier party has seen him welcome some of the world's leading house and techno selectors to venues dotted across the globe. The Hydra will team up with Outlier this October to deliver a co-curated line-up showcasing the music driving our alternative electronic music community forward.
Joining Ninja Tune’s Bonobo will be a close friend of The Hydra who graced Printworks' gigantic press halls with us last year. Detroit heavyweight and FXHE Records boss, Omar S. Leon Vynehall heads up the UK contingent for the show, a master craftsman who blurs the line between dance music producer and an expressive musician, while NYC’s Mister Saturday Night and award-winning saxophonist Nubya Garcia complete the line up.
The Dark Room will play host to a selection of artists who encapsulate global sound and deliver rhythms illustrative of The Hydra’s natural connection to the roots of dance music. Clap! Clap! and Auntie Flo have become spearheads of the new strand of club music fusing electronic and world influences, while Columbian-born Julio Victoria blesses us with an infrequent London appearance. Tash LC joins for her Hydra debut and Maryisonacid will be going back to back with Dauwd as ‘African Acid Is The Future’, a project designed to explore the intricacies between Techno and Afro-influenced beats.
