Event Preview: London Remixed Festival @ Rich Mix (London; Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March 2022)
One of the most eclectic music festivals returns to London’s prime venue Rich Mix, which once again proudly hosts the multi-room celebration of diversity and collaboration across the musical worlds.
Organised and curated by a who’s who of the best and boldest curators, promoters and agencies in the London Music scene, London Remixed Festival not only puts some of the highest respected names together with emerging artists, but perhaps most importantly focuses on future, progressive sounds from all areas of exploration.
This year the Friday evening is hosted by Continental Drifts who are celebrating 25 years of putting together some of the best line ups across the largest festivals. They’re bringing their big bold brass off with names such as Intergalactic Brasstronauts as well as their best DJs including the ever intriguing DJ Chris Tofu.
Saturday celebrates one of their largest lineups so far, with everything from Future Arab music, African, Latin remix all the way to new UK folk and very funky DJs.
A particular highlight of the line up is West Asian Disco duo Tootard, from the Golan Heights, bringing their new album of purely upbeat fun synth disco back to London. As well as the opportunity to catch Fedzilla, the London based MC and rapper and all round magical muso. Also the vivacious and enthusiastic Don Kipperis a Balkan beast not to be missed.
There’s literally something for everyone across 4 great stages that even boast an inclusive silent disco. The fun and friendly festival pushes the boat out to ensure all your experiences are exciting, for example by fully decking out the lift between floors with its very own tiny disco, complete with a shiny disco ball!
Check out the full line-up below and enjoy our Remixed video playlist!

This might be one of the rare – actually extremely rare – occasions when you can forget to damn the lockdowns and Covid-19 regulations and instead bless the fact that you’re going to spend another weekend at home, possibly staring at a screen and having to turn your living room/bedroom…
There’s no doubt that, since last time we met them two years ago, the Nakhleh brothers have grown up, changed and arguably matured. Musically, they sound like two different people. As much as TootArd, the group they founded in Majdal Shams (their hometown on the Golan Heights) in 2010, sounds…

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, afrobeat’s rise in global popularity in the past decade has unavoidable. But the genre, with a rich history based on instrumental figures such as Fela Kuti, Tony Allen and Oghene Kologbo dating back to the late 60s, is more than a commercial fad….
