The night will get going with an open jam under the rhythmic “direction” of incandescent Kurdish multi-instrumentalist player Jabbaristan (from the Turbans, Gypsydelica, Balkan Hot Club…).
Then, the stage will be taken over by the guest of honour, coming from the Moroccan Sahara Desert, Berber Diffusion will bring the entrancing gnawa rhythms to Tottenham. The London-based band is indeed thoroughly committed to spread and bring forward the Berber/Amazigh music and will have you dancing in no time.
…and you will keep on dancing till closing time! Berber Diffusion will be followed by the “in-house” DJ-set by Egyptian-Colombian global bass duo Carthnage, enhanced by the relentless percussive beats of Jabbaristan and the bewitching bellydance crew of Linda Cremin.
