Event Preview: Arsenal of Sounds #2 w/ Orchestra of Samples & Parasang @ Woolwich Works (London; Friday 7th October 2022)
One of the main reasons we recently launched Arsenal of Sounds, our monthly music series happening at Woolwich Works, is to represent the London music scene in the most exhaustive way.
Since we never liked definitions, we always preferred to let the music do the talking. So, on Friday the 7th of October, we will host a very special event showcasing our “definition” of London and its sound, featuring two projects offering far-reaching, inclusive and imaginative perspectives over the London global scene.
We have asked Addictive TV and Pouya Ehsaei to bring on stage Orchestra of Samples and Parasang, their collective, collaborative and far-out projects on the same night. After having attended a brilliant “premiere” in Walthamstow in May (part of Plugged), it was a no-brainer to try to replicate the double-bill presenting the multimedia ensemble of “ethno-samples” orchestrated by the Addictive TV family, and the stimulating jam led by the Iranian music wizard.
There’s no way to anticipate what will happen on stage throughout the evening. Both Orchestra of Samples and Parasang are one-off single journeys around the music world, welcoming elements and inspirations from all over the globe and counting on talented as well as visionary music interpreters.
