A few months ago, we had the pleasure of enjoying a preview (and pre-listen) of Balfron Promise, as 47Soul premiered their upcoming album when they filled Village Underground for a loud and exciting night.
Now that the official album launch is only a few days away, we simply cannot wait for it.
On the 2nd of February, the London-based quartet will introduce their brand-new release to their fans. They will do it in grand style at the Jazz Café, where they will be unleashing their vehement electro-Dabké music positively charged with social and political activism.
47Soul’s gigs are intense, provocative, and inevitably electrifying. Their sound is quintessentially Middle Eastern, but the musicians love to specify their current residency in London by bringing together Arab folk songwriting with electronic beats, hip-hop rhymes, rock-ish distortions and North African rhythms.
No need to say that you shouldn’t miss their upcoming Camden show, and even if you’re not a Londoner, don’t despair. 47Soul are going to be hitting the UK roads on the 3rd of February with their Balfron Promise Tour…
