Appreciated for both their musical virtuosity and indisputable ability to deliver a ballistic good time, Caravan Palace finish the Blighty stretch of their current European tour at the 02 Forum on Tuesday 15th.

Forming in 2005, the band’s eponymous debut album in 2008 set the tone for their fantastically enjoyable 1920s-inspired tracks, placing them firmly in the vanguard of electro-swing. After a more experimental second album in 2012, <I°_°I> (or Robot) attempts to break free of the shackles of their first two albums, carrying a more subdued and fluid rhythm and flow.

Tickets for their tour flew out with minimum promotion and zero-hype as revellers across Europe scramble to catch a live show of these Parisian electro-pioneers. Fusing hedonistic house and old school jazz to glorious effect, they come to London as a true word-of-mouth sensation. Mixing 1920’s dance hall feels with electronic beats and synths, Caravan Palace are capable of tearing the roof off any venue or festival tent.
