Preview: Convergence Festival @ Various Locations [London, 21st to 25th March 2017]

Since its birth in 2014, Convergence has provided a platform for artists to explore the ways music, art, and technology intersect in our contemporary world.

Held in the British capital over six days and across a number of iconic venues scattered around the city, such as the Barbican Centre and Electric Brixton, this year’s edition includes performances by American drone-noise-ambient band Sunn O))), Canadian vocalist and producer Austra, internationally acclaimed DJs such as Kode9 and Mica Levi, multi-instrumentalists Flamingods, Ash-Ra Tempel’s Manuel Göttsching, electro-dabkè up-and-coming London-based project 47Soul along with many others.

Alongside live shows, a series of discussions, workshops, and film screenings, exploring how technology shapes art and music, will also be held on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th at Behind The Bike Shed in Shoreditch by a wide range of industry voices.
