Live streamed from The Barbican, Kinoshi’s ten strong SEED Ensemble will play the spiritual jazz of Pharoah Sanders to celebrate the mythic saxophonist’s 80th birthday. Jazz legend has it that Sanders received his name from Sun Ra, another composer who looms large on the London scene and another reference for SEED Ensemble who sonically explored Afro-futurism on their Mercury nominated 2019 album Driftglass.
