Movimientos and Alborada, two of the liveliest, most prolific and forward-thinking organisations based in London focused on Latin American culture, have partnered up once again to organise a momentous and intriguing celebration of South American music, cinema and tradition.
The stage lightning will be turned on at 2pm and illuminate a series of short movies, discussions and talks reflecting the state of affairs of Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil.
Until 7.30pm, it will be food for thought cooked by speakers. Then, after a short break, just half an hour later, Fiesta Liberación will wear its dancing shoes and clear the dancefloor for some Latino grooves and rhythms.
Eri Okan and their afro-samba and afro-reggae sound will be the guests of honour and surely let you move throughout their set. Next to them, Maracatu Estrela Do Norte will get on with the Afro-Brazilian upbeat mood and Movimientos DJs and Alborada Soundsystem will keep the party going and rolling until 1am.
So feed your mind and dance the night away.
