In celebration of Trojan Records: established in 1968, Trojan was the one stop bridge from Jamaican music culture to British music culture, distributing the finest Jamaican styles from ska, rocksteady, roots to dancehall: the result is fifty years releasing and distributing endless Jamaica hits on all music formats.
In their fiftieth year, Trojan have organised some fantastic events to celebrate including this unmissable jam with the almighty Jazz Jamaica All Stars, with them a choir with led Mark De-Lisser who just arrange the gospel choir for this year’s highly acclaimed royal wedding choir. Also legendary guest singers: Noel Mckoy, known as the godfather of British soul, and Brinsley Ford, a founding member of reggae history: Azawad.
There are many spectacular artists guesting either as musicians or singers: thus this event promises to be a humble celebration and appreciation of a timeless culture.
