Preview: Kondi Band @ No.1 Harbourside (Bristol, 14th July 2017)
Bristol, we are coming for you! Thanks to our friends, Area Boys, Rhythm Passport has the pleasure to co-promote an exciting free entry event.
On the 14th of July, Sorie Kondi and Chief Boima, known together as Kondi Band, will bring their Afro-electro sound to No.1 Harbourside offering you the best night out in town where you can dance the night away. And, on top of that, all your fun will be entirely on the house.
The duo is a perfect amalgam between traditional melodies from Sierra Leone, sung and played by Siere with his kondi (thumb piano), and the global beats and techno sensibility of Boima.
The relentless West African beats will surround and embrace you and you won’t be able to control yourself. The rhythms will start taking over your shoulders, arms, hips, legs and, finally, your feet, getting your entire body going.
To close the night in style, Area Boys will get behind the decks and keep the show going until 2 AM.
By the way…have we already said that your entry will be completely free?
