Let’s start by saying that Mina is one of the most stimulating and eclectic artists, producers and DJs exciting the London dancefloors right now. Her musical perspective embraces the world, but it’s from across the Atlantic where she found her main inspiration.
From Ghana to Jamaica and Spain to Brazil, the young artist (also founder of Earth Kicks label) has brought African, Caribbean and Latin sounds together to make people dance. However, her global bass is also made to be listened to and broken down, considering the richness of rhythms and influences.
You can do all this at Rye Wax on 5th July, when she’ll launch her debut album Flight Paths, accompanied by some thrilling special guests, like Ghanaian singer/songwriter Bryte, Spanish reggaeton and dancehall producer and DJ Merca Bae, and Peruvian vocalist Nané.
