Now that the element of surprise has worn off and Omar Souleyman has become a global star, he is able to reach people and let them dance all over the world. And now we can’t avoid explaining why you should wear your comfiest shoes and join him for his upcoming show at EartH Hackney on the 6th of February.
With his very own take on dabke music, fuelled by the entrancing techno beats played by his trusty collaborator Hasan Alo, the Syrian vocalist (and farmer) will present to London his latest release Shlon, and set the Hackney dancefloor on fire.

Omar Souleyman will grace the Jazz Cafe on the 2nd of November with his electrifying performance of songs mixing dance and Kurdish, Ashuri, Arabic and Turkish folk music.
