Shoreditch cultural hub Rich Mix is bringing Norwegian Punkt Festival to London for the very first time. The festival, known at home in Kristiansand as Punkt Festivalen, is a unique one, where live performances are remixed and reinterpreted at the same time in different spaces. An uniqueness that has captivated the likes of Brian Eno and David Sylvian.
Rich Mix will see British noise rock electronic band Three Trapped Tigers perform in the main space an exclusive improvisation set featuring Norwegian noise artist Ståle Storløkken and Warp Records’ Mira Calix. Afterwards, such performance will be reinterpreted by trumpeter Arve Henriksen with Erik Honoré and Jan Bang through remixing and sampling.
Hosting the event will be BBC Radio 3’s Fiona Talkington, who has been involved with the Punk Festival since its start in 2015.
