On 8th October, Union Chapel will be hosting the multi-talented duo, Richard Bona and Alfredo Rodriguez. In their debut UK performance, Cameroonian bassist Richard Bona will carry on his inspired Cuban exploration (note his band, Mandekan Cubano) by fusing styles with the one-of-a-kind Cuban pianist Alfredo Rodriguez. The two musicians are some of the best within their genres, so for a fusion like this to occur is not only rare but will certainly provide the lucky listeners with a sonic splendour.
To add to the magic, this performance will be held at London’s best church venue, Union Chapel. So, in order to see and hear this duo present their latest Afro-Cuban jazz project in one of our favourite venues, join us on 8th October to experience a show that’s not to be missed for Cuban and Afro jazz fans alike.
