Reggae has increasingly become New Zealand’s most successful music export. Think about acts like Fat Freddys Drop, Katchafire and Salmonella Dub for example… or consider Wellington born-and-bred Black Seeds.

Next to their upbeat and smooth sound and South Pacific origins, all these bands have other things in common; the most glaring are the intense energy they release on stage and the warm bond they create with their fans. If you have experienced it once, you might have already bought your ticket for Black Seeds’ upcoming gig at Electric Brixton on 15th August. While, if you have never revelled in such passionate shows, you can seize a not-to-be-missed opportunity, when the 10-piece band will come to London to present their new album of rarities and re-workings (REFABRICATED) and spread their “sweet as” aura.
