Preview: Total Refreshment Centre’s 7th birthday w/ Nu Guinea & friends @ Hangar (London, Friday 15th March 2019)

TRC7th nuguinea

Despite its recent vicissitudes, Total Refreshment Centre is loudly and proudly turning seven this March. Seven years spent discovering, spreading and staging some of the finest music (jazz in particular) from all over the world.

Since 2012, the former Hackney Social Club has become a meeting point for the London contemporary and forward-looking music scene. It goes without saying that their upcoming birthday party, hosted at The Hangar, will be a not-to-be-missed event, not simply to raise a glass to the TRC family, but also to dance the night away beneath an avalanche of smooth vibes triggered by the heart-stirring Neapolitan-funk big band Nu Guinea and kept in motion by talented jazzy young trio Zeñel and DJ-sets by Belle Bete and TRC’s architect Lex Blondin.

On Friday 15th March, head for London Fields to say happy birthday to Total Refreshment Centre and re-discover the meaning of groove.
