As the UK’s leading female saxophonist, YolanDa Brown won the ‘Best Jazz’ category in MOBO’s 2008 awards. The following year she was the first artist to not only be nominated for two consecutive years but to also take the award.
Featuring Evelyn Glennie as a special guest on percussion and Lemar on vocals, the 10-year anniversary performance is lined up to be one of Southbank’s highlights for the month.
