Daily Discovery: Mamelles by Noga Ritter & Ibnou Annas Gueye

Noga Ritter is a London-based singer/songwriter and bandleader fusing Hebrew Jazz with Afro-diasporic grooves.

She’s currently working on Ofek, her new solo album, backed by a 12-piece all-star ensemble featuring musicians from around the world like Senegalese Seckou Keita and Dembis Thioung:
Imagine: kora that makes you shiver with dunun grooves that gets you grooving, horns that inspire you to fly, guitar that makes you float in the sea, piano that connects you with your past, a super tight rhythm section, and soaring vocals with lyrics in English and Hebrew, bringing Hebrew back to its original nomadic roots“.

You can support Noga and help the release of the album by donating to her indiegogo campaign at this link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/noga-ritter-s-debut-album-ofek#/
