Daily Discovery: Ríoghnach Connolly · Honeyfeet – Work It

Back in October, Manchester-based band Honeyfeet, fronted by Ríoghnach Connolly, published their third album titled It’s Been A While, Buddy, featuring a fusion of musical genres fully representing the sound of the band, from protest songs to jazz, funk to psychedelic folk and pop to African rhythms.

“Work It” is the opening track and latest single extracted from the LP. It enjoys the participation of singer/songwriter Rik Warren and is accompanied by an absorbing videoclip filmed at the Islington Mill artistic community in Salford showcasing the choreography and dance of the talented movement artist, Freya Jenkin.
