Starting in the spring of 2016 UToS has put together over 20 parties in the UK, Spain and
Colombia in the genres of Tropical Bass, Cumbia and Afro House.
In 2016 we curated and released an 18 track free-download compilation named Tropikalia in
partnership with Invazion (Medellin), which was favourably received by DJs and the general public
and downloaded from our cloud server over 4000 times.
Back in London permanently in late 2018 we released a compilation in vinyl & digital formats
named dia:tribes which included unreleased cuts from artists such as LaWalichera, Aluphobia, LuaPreta and more. This released was followed earlier this year by a 17-song remix album featuring notorious contributions by the likes of DanielHaaksman and DJNirso.
For the rest of the year, we look to step up the calibre of our booked artists and have already
arranged dates for shows in April and May featuring Trufonix and PombaGirls.
