100 Years of Bollywood

Wrapping up the season with the electrifying sound of the Bollywood Brass Band!

Sat 15 December, 7.30pm


Spectacular and funky drummers and a 6-piece horn section play massive hits from Indian films, celebrating a century of Hindi Movies throughout the Golden Age of Bollywood and beyond. The Bollywood Brass Band plays music with video projections from early 1913 footage to present day blockbusters and their super-hit songs.The show features music with synchronised video projections of dance sequences from movies such as Devdas, Hare Rama, Hare Krishna and Dhoom, and includes film by Phalke, India's first home-grown film maker, accompanied by new music composed by the band.
